Group showing of rental property?

Matt Merriott

I have a full time job as im sure most do, so time is valuable. Is there anything wrong with doing a group showing of interested potential tenants? I scheduled 3 showings for 15 minutes each last monday and only one showed.

It's going to depend on the rental demand. In my area with extreme demand, my showing schedule is generally "I'll be there on Saturday from 11AM - 2PM. If you can make it during this time, great, if not, best of luck in your search."

Not only does this save time, but it also can show demand to those interested and motivate them to apply.
