Inherited Tenant with a vicious dog

I’m about to close on a property where the landlord only had no written leases. I got them to sign an estoppel certificate to confirm what they pay and when and what the security deposits were. It’s come up that one of the tenants has a vicious dog. What can I do, with only a few days before we are supposed to close? I don’t want to walk away, but I want the seller to take some responsibility for letting the tenant have a bad dog. I already told the listing agent about it weeks ago, but it looks like the seller ignored the issue.
