Lease Agreement Privacy Concerns

Hi all, I searched around the internet and these forums for an answer to this for about an hour or so, and I couldn't find anything.

I am applying for a new credit card and I listed "rental income" as one of my sources of income. During my credit card application, the underwriter is asking for a copy of the lease agreement to confirm the monthly agreed upon amount. I am concerned about this being a breach of privacy of my tenants. I offered them a copy of invoices of the rental payments instead, but they insist on just the lease agreement.

I wonder about the legality of something like this. Does anyone know? Are there any places I can look? Am I overthinking this? Is it a normal thing to just hand out lease agreements to whoever asks for it? I just got my first rental property last year, so still learning the small things here and there.

It is quite regular for loan officers etc to ask to see leases if they are being relied upon and no you are not breaching any confidentiality agreement-unless you entered into one- by sharing the lease with a credit officer. He is doing his homework. And no, you are not and should not hand leases out to just anybody.
