Service Line Insurance coverage?

Wendy Man
Posted

Is it worth getting the endorsement for service line coverage on the dwelling insurance (e.g. for water supply, gas supply, sewer) in the Twin Cities metro area?  An example at: https://www.amfam.com/insuranc...

@Wendy Man I normally don't recommend home warranties for rental properties. Have you considered getting specific home warranties for your water supply, gas supply, sewage lines, etc? I personally have used HomeServe https://www.homeserve.com/en-u... for such coverage's. You can pick and choose which coverage you want. The monthly rates are very reasonably priced. I had a sewage line break. They addressed it quickly and saved me thousands if I had to pay out of pocket.
