Ok so I read the beginners guide. Learned just about as much information that a book can teach. I went to several seminars and orientations where I learned about how much money and what people have done. Now I am stuck on where to purchase rental properties. I would like to have 5 in a year. I just do not know for sure how do I start it out. Do I buy one already with tenants? Or buy a home and look for tenants? If someone with rental experience could possibly give me some insight to get started please, I would be so grateful. Thank you for your time

Five in a year is certainly possible. It may be costly and may not be profitable, but its possible.

What's your goal: Long term wealth? Income now? Something else?

What's your situation: Are you willing to move? Buy at a distance? How much cash do you have? Enough for down payments on five houses? Are you going to manage them yourself?
