Showing my house today . Showings were between 4 and 6 Pm .   Had ALL these interested people that just HAD to see it .   One showed at 5 pm and started on their sob story on the front porch . I told them they wont qualify since their income was half of whats required .  Then I wait almost another hour , and I get 3 messages at 5 minutes till 6 .  People telling me they are on their way and will be there soon .   I message them back telling them that I leave at 6 pm on the dot .  I get replies that they will be there in 20 minutes to 45 minutes .    My reply was simple , DO NOT COME , the viewing is over in 5 minutes .    ( my responses were less than nice ) 

My take on this is you had plenty of notice to plan your time . If you cant be on time to view the property , (Late) then odds are that rent will be late .  And if you needed a place to stay you would have been there at the opening and be ready to make an impression
