Itemized letter of deductions from security deposit

Hello,

Tenant vacated unit and provided forwarding address. I mailed the itemized letter with deductions within the timeframe required by law. Tenant contacts me asking if I mailed him the refund. I told him i sent the letter certified mail but it was returned to me. Tenant then requests pictures of letter which I sent via sms. Then tenant sends me a differemt address and tells me to resend letter to that address. Am I required to send again certified mail another trip to post office?

I would resend. Take out postage from the new check due to previous returned mail.
