Served 90-day Eviction Notice- Damage Control

A partner and I just purchased 2 4-unit brick apartments in New York State and we have started the 90-day eviction process for 1 tenant.  We are nervous this tenant is going to damage the unit now that he knows we are evicting him.  I am hoping someone can let us know how we should proceed!  Any advice is appreciated.
