Does accepting UniteCT payment affect eviction?

UniteCT has contacted me that they can pay for my tenant's May rent.  I was planning to file a notice to quit for lapse of time and for them to vacate by 5/31.  If I accept UniteCT payment, would that affect me filing the notice to quit and eviction process if needed?
