What would you do? (Applicant with double eviction)

A close friend of my resident manager would like to rent from me. He has two evictions on his record (which he initially lied about, but supposedly has turned his life around in the last few years, according to my resident manager) but has offered to pay 6 months of rent in advanced. So, what would you do?

Sounds like this has real potential to create trouble/tension between you and your resident manager if it goes bad. And it sounds like the "turning his life around" part didn't include giving up lying.... or maybe he only told the truth before? ;)
