I’m back on Biggerpockets

It’s been a busy couple of years. I was really active here for a while but took a hiatus. I left my desk job to start my own business and swing a hammer. The physical labor has been tough, but the peace of mind is well worth it.

I obtained a few rentals over the years and it gave me the ability to leave my 9-5. I wasn’t making a lot of money, but it made the bills doable while I pursued something more enjoyable. The end game of course is Rentals full time.

I’ve had two kids over the years, got married, and “settled down”. Although I feel tired 99% of the time, it’s a better type of tired. The mental exhaustion just isn’t there anymore and I’m grateful for that.

I’ve ran into quite a bit of road blocks since leaving my 9-5. Bank financing has been difficult, and I don’t make as much money. So getting loans just isn’t possible right now. I have found asset based lenders and that’s the route I just take. Higher interest rate but it’s doable.

So here I am. Trying to make something happen with the roadblocks I currently face. Biggerpockets did wonders for me early on and I’m going back to the bread and butter. I’m here to say what’s up to all my old keyboard buddies and hopefully be able to network a bit to land me some deals.
