Short Term Rentals Cleaning

Brittany Berryman
Posted

Starting up my first short term rental in Crestline, CA. How do people handling cleaning? The cleaning bids I've gotten so far are around $220, and that seems high to pass it along to the guest(and its higher than what others are charging in that area). The property is about 1.5 hours away from where I live, so I'd prefer to not turn it over myself, but I'm willing to if needed. And who do you have do the towels and bedsheets?

Contact other people with lower cleaning rates in the vicinity of your property and see if they would share who their cleaner is.

Use Google and FB marketplace to find and interview other cleaners.

Sign a cleaning contract so they don't jack up their prices right after they start.
