What to do with neighbors tenants?

Hello everyone,

I just bought my first townhouse 2 months ago. After the 1st month it is starting to become a nightmare because my neighbors tenants are extremely noise. Recently I learned from multiple neighbors in the community that the police got involved many times because this tenant plays loud music at nights and rides his unlicensed motorcycle up and down the road.

I asked them nicely to keep it down but they don’t seems to care. I know that they rent for sure.

There is multiple police records shows that they terrible noise. And also there are reports at the HOA about the neighbors complaints. My question is what should I do? Is there a way to contact the original owner and let him know about this problem? Or can I start a petition with the other neighbors and try to evict these problematic tenants?

I appreciate every answer.

Read your HOA CC&R's and see what remedies you have at your disposal and exactly which rules have been broken. It would probably help to have recordings and police reports as evidence to present to the HOA. They HOA board may have already fined the owner, but their power is limited to what's in the CC&R's. Read it thoroughly and go from there.

You can find owner records through the county clerk/recorder and try reaching out, but if this has gone on for this long, it's pretty evident that the owner doesn't really care.
