Selling Credit Card Tradelines

I’ve heard about people selling credit (card) tradelines a couple of times, most recently on Countdown to FI podcast with The Millionaire Educator (I believe it’s episode 54). Is anyone doing this successfully or is anyone fiercely opposed to it? Why or why not?
