Kalamazoo property manager

Hi Im not happy with my current  property manager. I've had them for one year now with my first multiunit property. They are not responsive, they rarely inform me of maintenance charges and the are slow to bill and pay me my rent. I'm not in Kzoo, so I don't have the opportunity to stop by and see their work. But it seems like the tenants are taken care of. Am I expecting too much? Does anyone have any recommendations for property mgrs in Kalamazoo?

I don't think you need to throw anyone under the bus but if you could help any of us avoid a mis-step it would be greatly appreciated.
