1. What makes your direct mail service better?

Quality mail pieces and being an inclusive one stop shop for all things direct mail related. 2. Which mail piece should I use?

Depends. The factors that go into how I will make this recommendation are as follows. Who are you mailing too? What type of list do you have? How many times are you mailing to them? How many leads do you have?

These may seem like random questions but they all play a role in how I would structure your direct mail campaign. The one constant I will tell people is nix the yellow letters they are old and overused. Trust me on that :)

3. How many times should I mail to the same list?

Follow up is KEY! If you mail to a list one time and get flustered at the results then stick with it. You don't want your work and money to go down the drain. Check out these statistics that represent the number of deals that came from direct mail by touch.

  • After the 1st Contact: 2%
  • After the 2nd Contact: 4%
  • After the 3rd Contact: 6%
  • After the 4th Contact: 10%
  • After the 5th Contact: 81%

People tend to give up after the second or third touch but stick with it. Statistics don't lie!
