In 1967, Milt Goldman was forced to move his Dairy operations from near Priest Drive and Baseline, yielding to construction of the new Superstition Freeway. So he settled on open land which stretched west of what is now 28th Street and north of what is now Pecos Road. He built a custom 4,000 sf home on a hilltop lot overlooking his new dairy. The Goldman Dairy operated there until 1986, when development started to close in and they moved the operations to Coolidge, AZ. This custom home, packed with history and interesting features, is now available to purchase. The Goldman house has strong bones, as to be expected with a custom home where they didn’t spare many expenses back in the day.
