Massachusetts Mentors?
I would greatly appreciate any information relative to local mentors? Does anyone have any experience with mentors from Massachusetts that they would be willing to suggest to me? I understand that these services are not free and I am willing to pay a reasonable fee! Every mentorship I find online appears to be fake or has crazy prices! Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Michael, I'd read this blog first:
http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2015/03/16...
Then if you have questions about specific programs, please PM me and I'll give you what I have or know. Or if I have a good opinion, I'll post it here.
Thank you very much Ann Bellamy.
Hi Michael,
Before paying for information, why don't you research specific topics on BP and read through as many posts as you can to get a general idea about real estate. I only feel that a mentor is an option when you find a niche that you want to explore, and need help getting through the transaction. I mentor many clients for "free" as their investor friendly real estate agent. I only get paid when a transaction closes. I help with building a team, discuss financing options, help analyze deals, and walk them through the deal start to finish, and beyond after the close. Meet with local investors that are BP members (people who do not charge you money for a 30 minute discussion over coffee) and interview investor friendly real estate agents that are experts in the real estate niche you choose (flipping, buy and hold etc.). Be sure to attend as many free MA real estate networking events as possible to meet like minded people. I recommend Black Diamond events (listed on @Ann Bellamy signature line) and reach out to @Justin Silverio for his next free networking event in the Reading area. Feel free to reach out and best of luck.
@Michael Tulipano Welcome.
You may want to go to as many REIA meetings in this area as possible and ask a question or two inadvance.
I can't thank everyone enough! I am looking into the area meetings and reading more and more about all facets of real estate. Thank you all for your time in responding to me.
I know @Ann Bellamy runs a meetup that I'm going to be checking out for my first time soon. Also a friend of mine has a get together once a month in Boston and Quincy. PM if you ever want details.
