Military Veteran 1ST Va Loan
Hey Guys, I'm Skeete. In the search for my first rental property using the Va loan. Having an extremely hard time finding Va knowledgeable realtors and lenders that understand my goals as far as multifamily investing. I see There's no actual location on this site/forum for veterans. Just looking for some vets who's used their va loan to help guide me through the process. My realtor keeps telling me i cant get a home with the amount of money i have now. It almost feels as if she's not fighting to properly help structure the deal. When i have questions she usually gives me the wrong answer until i double check with VA site. Any OG's in the building? 🙏🏾

Hey Justin, I am a Vet. 9 years in the Army National Guard and I bought my first house with my VA loan back in 2020 after a deployment and closed with $1100 at closing (Basically for my insurance premium) I have also repeatedly done this with other Veterans/Military and a-lot of times they close with nothing out of pocket. I even had 1 time where a client got $2000 back at closing because of excess concessions at closing. My VA loan was the bridge into my real estate investing ventures and has now led me to my small & performing portfolio of rentals that I have now and a very successful real estate career. I recently have applied for my VA disability and I am going through the process of that now with 32 VA claims after my 9 years of Infantry & being a Motor Transport Operator in that time. I hope to walk away with 100% after all of this and a medical discharge so I can focus on my real estate completely. That said, I am very experienced in this space.
It looks like you tagged Atlanta, are you looking for your first home there?
