Out of state Real Estate Agent/Investors
Hi, I'm a virtual real estate wholesaler currently targeting properties in Augusta GA and looking to collaborate with local agents and investors. If you're interested in working together on deals or have any off-market property leads, I'd love to connect and explore potential opportunities. Let’s see how we can work together!"

The best place to find wholesaler friendly agents is in local Facebook groups, not on BiggerPockets. Most people on here are actual investors or aspiring to buy their 1st property soon. Wholesaling is definitely a great way to get started building capital to build your own portfolio so I hope that wholesaling is not the main game here and just a beginning piece. Best of luck to you!

I totally get what you mean about Facebook groups being more wholesaler-focused, but I’ve also seen some great discussions on BiggerPockets around wholesaling. It’s interesting how different platforms can have such varying groups, but I’m curious how others have been able to connect with agents who are more wholesaler-friendly on BiggerPockets.

Any agent can be "wholesaler friendly" but you have to be sure your bringing value. Wholesaling is a tricky game when working with agents because we don't want a reputation of working with them in our local market because when we are working with an actual buyer, a bad reputation of wholesalers not closing deals can be detrimental to an agents reputation. Wholesaler's don't really have to worry about reputation because you can just change up your business to a new branding or change markets, we can't do that. We also have ethical & legal standards to follow. Wholesalers don't really have to worry about losing a license because it doesn't exist. Just something to think about. Hopefully this makes sense.

I completely understand where you're coming from, and I appreciate the insight. Reputation is everything for agents, and I can see how working with wholesalers could potentially be risky if deals don’t go through or if things aren’t handled professionally. For wholesalers, building long-term, trustworthy relationships is equally important, even though we have more flexibility with branding and business models
I make it a priority to bring value, build trust, and make sure I’m not only closing deals, but doing so in a way that benefits everyone. That includes maintaining a high level of professionalism and transparency with agents.
I definitely respect the ethical and legal standards agents have to follow, and I aim to operate with the same level of integrity. At the end of the day, I believe that if both parties can align on expectations and work together professionally, we can create win-win situations.
