STR Cabin Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Area Help

Hey everyone. Newbie here. My hubby and I are looking to take the first steps towards purchasing a STR cabin in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area hopefully in the near(ish) future. He works full time, so I'm trying to handle the bulk of the research etc and feeling a little overwhelmed. Is there anyone out there who would be interested in setting me on the right path to get started? I could absolutely use the guidance of some experienced folks if anyone could be so kind.
