Looking for a fix and flip mentor!

I am currently residing in Southeastern Colorado and actively seeking a one-on-one mentor experienced in single-family residential fix-and-flips to help kickstart my journey in the field. Currently, I work as an office manager at a glass shop specializing in window installations for commercial and residential buildings. Additionally, I am enrolled in a real estate course to obtain my license in the state of Colorado. My goal for this year is to find the best strategy to flip one house (possibly two), the business startup from the ground up, finding lenders and partners, and become well versed in this business. I live 2.5-3 hours from the nearest city that I’m interested in flipping. This is something I’m very excited about embarking upon. Your insights are crucial as I transition into this exciting venture. Thank you!

Hey @Ben Fernandez - I think @Bruce Woodruff made some good points about putting the cart before the horse, but I will add that for me most mentors have come up organically.

Here is what I mean by organically - I networked like crazy going to all the local Chicago meetups looking for people who were doing the most deals (also connecting with the host).  Invited them to coffee or lunch...asked a bunch of questions and figured out a way I could add value (i.e, walking for dollars, etc.)

P.S. love that you are getting your real estate license - super smart!
