Real estate focused CPA - currently W2 and wants to be an entrepreneur

Hey all - I'm a CPA but not a tax CPA. I worked at EY and PwC for 8 years before getting into real estate flipping, wholesaling, new construction, syndication, and ultimately now a property manager and long-term holder of apartments. In the process, I stared a bookkeeping company 100% focused on real estate, which we've been consistently growing the last 5 years (https://www.realestateaccounting.co/).

We want to start a tax business to compliment the bookkeeping and are looking for the right partner to do it with. The right person likely:

1. Currently works at a CPA firm on real estate clients but is looking to break out on their own

2. Invests in real estate or wants to do so

3. Is willing to take a lower monthly salary in exchange for equity in the tax entity.

4. Is a CPA licensed in the United States.

If this is you, let's chat! Reply here or DM me on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/markkappelman/).
