Website Designed as a Tool for Leads

Hello Bigger Pockets Forum,

This is a long shot here, but, I have a small rehab and rental operation with about 40 properties and a small team. I've always had the desire to build a website that is very well-designed and will show all the great things about our business. For now, I don't really have a purpose for this site yet, but wanted to begin building it out with photos of before and after pictures, graphs of ROIs etc, and even include more about what we do and how we do it, our current vacant listings, and our journey. At the very least I want to do this so I can show this to both prospective sellers, and maybe prospective investors (should we ever go that route)

I wanted to know if this community may know of some successful companies that do this already.

If you could post some great ideas and or sites/designs that do so?

I'm looking for a web designer/administrator to work with, but, Inspiration helps too!!

Quote from @Abel Curiel:

Hello @Joshua D.!

I am in a similar process currently, revamping my marketing and starting off with a new website.

Fortunately, I have a contact who has been guiding me. His wife specializes in helping small businesses. She works on their websites to rank high on online searches (SEO marketing), gives strategy ideas on content creation for the site, and I believe they sub out the design aspect.

If you wanted to do this on your own without an administrator/web manager, I'd recommend checking out UpWork or Fiverr for web designers who have significant SEO experience. This will help you drive traffic to your site.

The design aspect will help when meeting with or trying to convert sellers, investors, etc. I'd recommend keeping the site relatively simple and easy to navigate. Not too much text, not too many images or links. Just enough info so that so that folks can take a quick glance at your 1. credibility (past projects, current listings), 2. expertise (graphs, what you do/how you do it), And 3. Call to action (i.e. schedule a call/meeting, email you, visit your office, etc.).

Happy to connect you with my administrator contact if needed.

All the best!

Abel

 Hey Max,

We actually use a software called doorloop (Similar to Appfolio / Buildium, etc ) and they provide templates/hosting we decided to go with.. I think its like $100 a month in addition but we felt it the easiest route to go since we already use the software to process all rents online/via app.

Kindest,

Josh
