Finding Tax Prepaper / CPA
I have 4 properties in TX. May grow to 5 or 6 over next 3-4 years. I live in CA, and may move to MA or NY. I have a tax preparer in CA that charges me for my personal tax returns. I maintain good books/records of my properties. Properties will be owned in trust/LLC setups (trust owned by LLC). I am married but properties are all in my name only.
I am seeking a tax service I can use for the next 20 years. For real estate (which I imagine is Schedule E), I figure this tax preparer can handle all my real estate on a forward basis. And then I can continue to use my personal tax preparer. Or I can consolidate all of it to one person.
Am curious whether there is a consistently recommended tax preparation service out there.
