Depreciation Recapture in 2021 or 2022?
Hey, BP! I looked through the threads, but I need some expert advice. We are selling one of our rental properties, and we'll have some recapture. If I know that my overall income will be quite a bit more in 2022 because of some non-real estate projects, doesn't it make sense for me to make sure that we close this rental by the end of 2021 so that everything is taxed at a much lower overall tax level? Thanks!
