EIN Letter with non-active member
Hello,
I am a member of an LLC, and my former partner, which is no longer a member of this LLC, registered the LLC and filed a request for an EIN with the IRS.
Since he is no longer a member of the LLC, he was removed from all articles of organization and our operating agreement, however, his name is mentioned in the initial EIN letter.
My question is if the fact that his name is on the EIN letter has any implications on any of the LLC's activities, and if so, how is it possible to completely disassociate his name from the LLC.
I appreciate any input you may have.
Thanks,
Nadav Ben-Horin
