In need of a good accountant / CPA to help me grow

Hi there! This year has been a year of major change for me. At the beginning of 2019 I was working for an employer with 1 W2 income and an IRA / 401k.

Fast forward to today I have 2 rental properties, an investment portfolio, and I work for myself running a small media company with a part/full time editor that works for me + will be filing joint taxes with my partner.

This is all very new and honestly I have no idea what i'm doing when it comes to getting my finances in order when it comes to taxes, structuring business, etc.

What i'm looking for is a CPA / accountant who can work with me to create a plan and strategy to make everything run efficiently without too much work on my end, maximize my tax situation so I pay as little taxes as possible, and (hopefully) be along for the long haul as I grow my real estate business to 10 rental properties and beyond.

Are you open to working with your accountant remotely? I recommend finding an accountant who specializes in real estate taxation over one that is local. You may want to consider working with your accountant remotely to expand your options.

I would also recommend looking for a tax strategist who is willing to work with you throughout the year, not just when preparing your tax return. You want an accountant that can help you strategize and who is responsive when you want to know the tax consequences of the decisions you are making throughout the year.
