Cost Segregation Software versus Engineer
Hello,
I’m looking to have cost segregation done on a valuable single family rental property.
The price we paid for it less than the land is just over $500k which is the limit for some software.
I’ve gotten estimates for $7000 studies that say my deductions would be from $77k to $116k. However, they can’t do the study for a number of months and I need it quite soon.
Software estimates put the amounts much lower around $50k.
Any thoughts on the software versus the engineer?
I’m looking at DIYCostSeg.com. KGKB and Titan Echo have $500k limits. Any others I should consider?
Thanks for letting me know!
