North Carolina rules regarding LLC
I have a property in Ohio which I plan to transfer into an Ohio LLC ( single member ) . But I might soon be moving to NC permanently. I do not plan to use this LLC to do any business in NC.
Will I have to register my LLC with North Carolina just because I will be residing in the state? If I have to, then what sort of costs / fees/ expenses am I looking at?
Thank you.

@Pratish SHah Comparing North Carolina to California! How could you ;)
Just playing of course. In my experience, you only have to register a LLC as a foreign entity in NC if it is a foreign LLC investing/acquiring a loan on North Carolina property.
So if I am in Arizona with a Arizona LLC investing or even acquiring a loan for a NC property, I have to register my Arizona LLC. However, I do not if I am simply living in NC with a Arizona LLC. That make sense? Of course consult a entity attorney as needed.
Note, as I'm sure you are aware, you will most likely still need a Registered Agent in Ohio with a Ohio address in your case. This can be done through a third parties or simply putting a family member as a registered agent in Ohio.
