Think about doing the transaction within a self directed IRA plan. Many custodians, maybe even one local to you, may be able to help. This would allow you to grow your retirement portfolio, diversify and not pay taxes personally. If you NEED the money , there is not an outcome where you take the money yourself and not pay any taxes unfortunately.
