Mortgage Company Didn’t Pay Taxes

Hi BP Fam!

Over the weekend I received two delinquent tax bills from LA county for 2016-17 and 2017-18. Totaling of about $2K.

I found this odd because my mortgage bank is setup to pay for the taxes and ,per my escrow, it made payments both years...

Is there a red flag here? Is LA county just trying squeeze extra money out of me?

Also wondering if this has ever happened to anyone and how you handled it?
