Add someone to title
My in-laws wish to add me and my husband to their title. We all live together and they wish to convey ownership to us so I can get a home improvement loan to do some much needed repairs to the house. How would I go about getting in the title? Can we just go to the district clerks office and file or do we have to go thru a title company? We are in Harris County (Houston Texas). If we do have to go thru a title company, would someone recommend a company in my area?
