Probate tied up in court

Hello. I am looking for a probate or real estate attorney. I am in contact with a deceased mans family. They would like to sell but the property is held up in court. Property in NC. Court in Danville VA because the Will is handwritten. Now the property is up for a tax sell because there are past due taxes on it. Help. I told them I would speak to someone at union county to see what can be done? But I'm walking in the dark here
