Tax Credit for Depreciation.
My name is Esron.
I understand that one can received tax credit on a house for depreciation, and that the time or years allotted for that is 27 years. Now here's my crazy question. Is this 27 years of ownership or 27 years since the house was built?

And to add to that....
It's not the purchase price depreciated over 27.5 years- It's only the portion that is the value of the Building.
Land is not depreciated.
