Cost of Series LLC in Houston, TX

I just purchased 2 Houston, TX properties and intend to place them in Series LLC's. I was informed by a recommended lawyer that I cannot quitclaim the deed, but that instead Special Warranty Deeds are used. He seemed to be knowledgeable, but pricing seemed steep. Anyone mind sharing what I can anticipate in terms of cost for setting up and filing the Series LLC and any additional costs for Special Warranty Deed? Anything else I need to consider to reduce legal risk/exposure in the state of Texas? Thanks in advance!

I recently helped one of my clients set up a Texas Series LLC. The attorney I referred him too charged a flat fee of $1,250, which included the Operating Agreement, Series LLC Registration, and Membership Certificate.

I thought that was very reasonable, and my client was happy, which is important to me.
