Rolling over 401k and traditional IRAs into SDIRA
I have already converted one IRA into a SDIRA for real estate investment. Once I retire, I will have control over an IRAP (IRA as part of a union pension plan) and a 401K.
I have spoken to the union's plans administrator, and he says that I will be free to roll over both accounts as soon as my retirement is finalized.
My account manager at the custodian of my SDIRA said that I can roll both accounts over into the existing SDIRA.
It seems that it would be simpler for me to manage my real-estate portfolio, if it were not scattered around. (I already have properties purchased outside of the SDIRA).
Would there be any advantage in keeping the accounts separate?

Sandra, I'm with you. I like simplicity. I don't see any advantages of keeping them separate.
