All, I am refinancing my home and need some evaluation on the documents in comparison to the current mortgage. Please advise at your earliest convenience on a contact ie...closing or real estate attorney who can review the closing documents and likely represent me during the closing. All I can see at this point is the interest going down, which is good, but I still need a second opinion.

thank you,

Dan Harrison

Make sure that you are not being over charged for closing costs. There are scammers out there stating "no out of pocket costs" which means they add it to your loan amount. It should be around 3% of the price. If it is much more than that, walk away. It is better to piss off the lender than to sign up for a $15,000 closing charge.
