Mechanics Liens placed by wholesaler to contractor

So, tell me I'm not the only company that has had a supplier place liens on their properties because  the contractor who worked on said properties stiffed the supplier?

I mean...is that crazy? I feel like I'm the one that all the cray stories happen to.

By the way, my contractor was paid for the work he completed...until he walked off the job.

What really gets me is that I found out as I went to refinance and the bank was told of the liens and I had just NAILED a BRRR and it was extremely profitable despite having had to tear out a bunch of work that he did because it didn't pass code. Now, I am working with an in house crew.
