Is it Legal for our Mortgage LLC to offer incentive to Realtors

I have just launched an LLC mortgage lending business with my brother.

I want to make sure it is legal to offer the realtors we are working with a referral fee for each client that closes on a loan from us.

This could really get us some explosive growth but is it legal? What are your thoughts?

@Mike Trupiano , I have an excellent mortgage broker that I recommend time and again, even though I get absolutely nothing out of it. Why? Because he is amazing, he closes when he says he will close, has the LOWEST closing costs - often by thousands - and still manages to beat the rate of anyone else I find.

So I've recommended him to my in-laws, my sister, my clients and my friends. And I get nothing out of it, and I don't care, because I want him to succeed so when I need another loan, he's around to give me one.

Provide GREAT rates, closing costs and service, and the referrals will pour in. There is NO shortage of lousy lenders out there. You can stand out just by being mediocre. You can shine by being amazing.
