Has anyone gone through the process of creating their own LLC in the state of Michigan? I want to hopefully do it myself and not have to pay an attorney since at this point I only want to lock up the name and once I figure out what that LLC will focus on I will use it but right now just want the name. Any advice?

yep, that's easy. Just go on line. You can do it yourself for under a $100 . I have used Swyftfiling.com. With great results. I have used a lawyer in the beginning and it was over $500
