Re-naming my SoloK

After deciding to change the name of my soloK account, I was advised to add 401K to the end.  For example, instead of 'Todays's Investment' the person suggested I name it 'Today's Investment 401K Plan'

Is this the naming convention usually used?

@Purnell C.

The naming convention for 401k plans is usually based on the sponsoring employer.  This is a qualified employer retirement plan, not just an "account".

So, you have the Ford 401k Plan or the Apple 401k plan, as examples, or commonly the "Smith 401k plan" in a sole proprietor format.

While a plan name can be changed, it is not just something you do at will.  The plan has a registered tax ID and plan documents associated with the adopted plan name.

Please consult with your 401k plan provider for further guidance on this matter.
