I am working with an older investor who is trying to off load a Commercial building and wants to know what the Capital Gains taxes are before he commits to sell. I've been on google to search but I am coming up with different numbers from various sites. Can anyone provide a more accurate number. Thanks.

Rashad Jennings I'm assuming you are talking long-term capital gain rates. If you are in the 10 or 15 percent income tax bracket (bottom two) it is 0%. If you are in the 39.6 percent bracket (top bracket) it is 20% and everything else is 15%.

    Hope that helps.
