Looking for a New Jersey Lawyer and Cpa

Hey BP,

I'm starting to plan for my future real estate investments and need to assemble and structure my team and business plan. Before buying my first investment property in central Jersey I would like to get some references for knowledgeable lawyers and CPAs that have a strong REI background or are already working with other BP members. I am based out of the Monmouth county( 07728 ) and Ocean County ( 08757 ) areas. Any and all input will be much appreciated!

Congrats on getting your plan moving!! Having great attorney(s) and CPA is crucial! Believe me, my husband and I have been investing for over 10 years, and we have been through various professionals. However, I can tell you our current team is rock solid.

With regards to a CPA, I would HIGHLY recommend Jason Dubnik's team at Dubnik CPA. Here is their website: http://dubnikcpa.com/.  Hands down, he has saved us thousands of dollars over the years. With regards to attorneys, we work with a handful for different reasons and different purposes:

1. Eviction attorney - important to have on your team -  We invest in Mercer County so we work with Joe Mooney (http://www.joemooneylawofficenj.com/)

2. 3. Partnerships, Raising Private Money, etc - We use Ron Isgate (http://www.isgatelaw.com/)  His office is in Bucks County but does a ton of work for us both in NJ and PA.  We just closed on a 49 unit apartment building and he represented us on this transaction.
