Different Companies Using one LLC and EIN#

My brother and I currently have a DBA we use for real estate marketing. We are also partners in another company (this one is not real estate related),where we are are passive members and now need to form an LLC and entity name so we are taxed properly or else one us would have to claim all the income and taxes using our ss#.

I have researched this topic and it appears you can operate multiple companies under one LLC using DBAs. My questions are:

Does it matter that the type of business are not related or in the same industry?

When opening the DBA bank account would we use the LLC EIN # we established?

When we create the LLC is there a way to designate the type of industry or business as a something generic to allow different businesses to flow under this holding company?
