Probate
Hi Fellow BP members!
I own a business investing in rural land. There is a potential deal for land in Colorado but one of the sellers is deceased and so I would need assistance with probate. The attorney for the executor of the estate is in Illinois. The state of CO has told them they must open ancillary probate in IL.
Are there any attorneys or title agents out there who know how to handle this situation? Please send me a message. Thanks!

You should absolutely seek out a Probate attorney in your state. There is a way to qualify as an admin of the estate in many states if the beneficiaries are unwilling to open the estate up for probate. Whether you can in this particular case should be discussed with a licensed attorney.
