Tax implications, setting up foreign private lender

Hi - We are in the process of purchasing US property to flip with a loan from private investors from the UK. We are paying an interest rate as opposed to a share in the profits. I was wondering if any of the tax/ legal gurus can point me in the right direction to make sure we are setting up the loans correctly and ensuring we and the investor is set up correctly. Thanks,
