Time to protest taxes?
Hello all,
I bought a couple houses in GA, Gwinnett County to be specific, back in 2012. My understanding is taxes are assessed based upon the purchase price for the first couple years. Well I recently received notice that the tax assessment of my properties have gone up significantly.
Does this mean my taxes will go up this year or next year? If this year, guess that means I should find someone to protest them? Or can I wait til next year?
Thanks so much!!
