I am in need of a REI CPA . I live in the Melbourne Fl. area. I know that BP has a directory for Tax Pros but they are mostly if not all out of state. Wouldn't it be better to have an in state CPA that understands the state codes and laws? If so does anyone have a recommendation for someone local that can help with tax planning and strategies going forward? I need all the help I can get. Thanks

It would be ideal to have a tax professional know the state tax laws of where you are a resident of and real estate taxation.

Florida does not have a state income tax, so that is something you can cross off.
