Limited depreciation study

Hi,
I have a SFH LTR in Dover, ID and asked my accountant about ways to save more on taxes. He said I could get a mini depreciation study where I could get all the depreciation deductions in the first 5 years instead of depreciating it over 27.5 years. does anyone know about this? Can I order it myself? From whom? I'm in Sandpoint, ID.

It sounds like he means a cost segregation study.  Yes, you can order it yourself from firms that specialize in these (they require many different facets from engineering to accounting to perform).  I don't have any specific recommendations, but I'm sure if you search the forums for "Cost Segregation Study" something with recommendations will pop up.
